Hi!

I'm Gustavo Navarro! Let me introduce myself in a few words: I have 9 years of experience, and I love to solve problems. I realize this may sound cliche, especially when discussing design, but there isn't a better term to express how I behave at work. I basically go into things with an objective in mind and don't stop until we have the desired outcome. I guess my curiosity make me a generalist by nature.

Throughout my life, I have experimented with a variety of hobbies: video editing, game creation, web development, graphic design, guitar, digital marketing, investments, motion design, entrepreneurship, and so on. Even though product design is what I really like to do, I believe that my experiences have all helped me become a better problem solver by helping me make connections and communicate with people from different backgrounds.

I invite you to navigate through the chapters of my trajectory

The company was interested in building their own products, and I was the first designer hired for the task. Around 2018, we began working on CODA, which is essentially a B2B product designed to assist those who work with the ServiceNow platform. It began as a development best practices analysis and has since evolved to add value at various stages of the user's journey.

CODA was born out of our own company's pain points: how to ensure the quality of the code we deliver when we have several developers who are still learning the technology? We then saw an opportunity to create a tool that would automatically help to ensure quality while also assisting these new employees in learning. The business goal is to generate recurring and highly scalable revenue while also using the tool to gain a competitive advantage for the company's services.

We released the product in late 2019, continued to evolve it, and I became the manager of this area, overseeing both designers and developers. Accenture acquired the company (Organize Cloud Labs) in 2020, and we continued to work on expanding the product, but with new challenges. My current goal is to reach the break-even.
